"Mr. Spare Parts"

Films: Iron Golem (2011)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Eldritch Location/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average truck.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: At this point, we are not quite sure how to feel about all the films about robots from space. We'd sure like to see the creators of them, every now and then. But here, the creator came, it just didn't have the bot...yet.

History: After damaging a satellite to the point where it crashes into rural America, a strange goo-like parasite starts killing people before finding that it needs a body. So, it takes some of the scrap found in a junkyard, puts it all together, and creates a new robotic body for itself. Now, it can both infect people and destroy them if they don't comply. For this small town, things are about to get hairy.

Notable Kills: It can infect and kill with just one touch.

Final Fate: After its robotic body is blown up, the parasite tries to take control of a smaller part, only for it to come into contact with special beer that destroys it. Thankfully, there’s plenty more parasite-killing beer where that came from!

Powers/Abilities: Thrives in metallic environments, and can put lots of it together for a body. One touch from this parasite is all it needs to infect your body and kill you instantly.

Weakness: Cannot fuse with parts that are reasonably damaged, and if alcohol is involved, it will die.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Normally, the bad CGI and the fact that it's easily taken out would have brought this alien menace down a considerable peg. But first things first, that slightly-intimidating robot is just a means of transportation for this green parasite. You just have to brush you skin against it to be utterly tainted and killed by it. In short, don't touch the veiny robot.

Trivia: -This film was also known as "Iron Invader" and "Metal Shifters".

-Ironically, a lot of metals, such as copper, are known to be great deterrents against bacteria, which the parasite sort of looks like.
